I've been a fan of this series since it launched a decade ago and I truly believe this is a good successor for the series. I know its EA but they have made a huge game here that you can sink 50-80 hours into. I did notice these bad facial animations but it really hasn't taken me out of the experience enough to give this game a 4 like other people have. It is faster than previous games, intense, and encourages strategy to take out tougher groups of enemies. The star of the show for me is the combat. The dialogue and characters are interesting enough and the story is pretty solid! Lots of weapon choices and options for customization for your character. I'm about 6 hours in and am REALLY enjoying it so far. Having read through user reviews I've seen a lot of BLATANT lies about this game which makes me think people haven't even played the damn game in the first place. The dialogue and characters are interesting enough and the story is pretty solid! Lots of weapon choices and options for really not understanding the low score. It's a very long drawn out intro/tutorial that i couldnt first put my finger on it, but once it dropped me into open world, made me realize it's DA:I but in space. It drops you in very "ho'hum" - not as much buildup as ME1, ME2, or ME3 intros. really plays like DA:I, with open worlds, tons of crafting, kind of docile characters and character development. The camera angles, story, and protagonist really makes ME what it is. It eventually evolves into a much more action packed game with story elements cut through it. The ME trilogy sets the tone that you're already an elite soldier, carving your way thru space to save it. The camera angles, Game plays like Dragon age Inquisition, which isn't the history of how Mass Effect trilogy plays.
